Lando Norris Formula 1 World Champion 2025

By the skin of his teeth, Lando Norris secures the F1 World Champion title for 2025, only 2 points ahead of rival Max Verstappen.

I'm happy that his years of hard work and loyalty to McLaren resulted in him taking the only title opportunity given to him by the team, and whilst it looked for a while that relative newcomer and team mate Oscar Piastri would take the honours, Lando clearly dug deep to pull off a late season comeback, while the less experienced Piastri struggled under pressure and fell ever so slightly short of the line.

A valiant effort by Max Verstappen and Red Bull saw him come from a large points deficit to nearly steal a 4th world driver's title, but McLaren and Norris did literally just enough to fend off the challenge.

As for Piastri, he clearly has a championship in his future if given the car to make it happen.
